Started to come to worship here at ELC two years ago. I appreciate the well planned worship services - I always get so much from the sermon, the music, the prayer, the community. At children's sermon twenty or so children come forward. I always leave with a smile on my face and inspired to live a life to reflect God's love.
Warm and welcoming community. Outstanding messages. Age range at worship that represents all decades. I am blessed to be a part of this community.
I grew up in this church and absolutely loved it. There was a lot of stuff I did through high school with the youth group that allowed me to create some wonderful friendships. As an adult (under different leadership) some things happened and I stopped going for about 8 years. My grandfather passed away 7 years ago and the current Pastors did the service. It was a wonderful service for a wonderful man. It restored my faith in the church and I started going back slowly at first but as my faith was restored it was not a Sunday morning without church. I highly recommend ELC to anyone who is looking for a place to worship.
To me, this church is "HOME." Pastor Dennis and Pastor Drahus teach and speak from their heart that is guided from God. They give solid Biblical teaching! I struggle with a chronic illness so when I have a flare, I can't attend. The pastors and church members notice my absence, and reach out to me - seeing if they can do anything to help. I have attended many churches in my life and I find ELC of Waynesboro is one of the most caring & encouraging churches as their love for God pours out of their hears on a daily basis. They truly of God's vessel of His love to this world.
The spirit is alive in this church. It is an amazing place to grow in faith! My 3 year old son AND 87 year old grandfather both love it. All are welcome!!
